MLevel is excited to announce the release of a new visibility feature that will allow administrators to further control mission access.
Purpose of the Feature
MLevel includes the ability to set visibility on tenants and missions, allowing administrators to make content only accessible via deep linking. When a mission is hidden, learners cannot see it on the mission launchpad however it can be accessed via deep link. It is a great way of keeping content secure.
While MLevel offers the ability to make missions available to certain user groups, maintaining those user groups can be difficult if the mission has a large audience. Hidden Missions allow administrators to leave their mission assigned to the "Everyone" group instead of maintaining a user group, but still prevent that mission from being accessible to everyone in the customer environment.
How to Hide Your Mission:
The default setting for MLevel is that a mission is not hidden. To hide your mission:
- Login to Mission Manager (missions.mlevel.com) using your administrative credentials.
- Select a mission.
- In the Mission Details Advanced Configurations tab, click Mission Visibility
- Toggle the box labeled “Hide Mission (Only Accessible through Deep Link)” and click save. The mission is now hidden, and users will not be able to navigate to it via the mission launchpad.
To access the deep links navigate to the Deep Linking tab. The only way users can gain access to the hidden mission is through the links located on this page. For more information about deep linking, click here.
If you want to hide a tenant, please contact support@mlevel.com for that feature.
