I'm a Non-English user, how do I enter my email address in English?

We have users all around the world using mLevel.  In some cases, when entering your email address on the mLevel login screen you may need to input English characters.  To do this, you'll need to use the English keyboard on your device.  Before you can change the input language to English, you need to make sure that English has been added as an option on your phone/computer.  This is a temporary and simple change to make.  The following steps will guide you through this process.  

iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Tap the Settings icon.
  2. Select General Keyboard.
  3. Select Keyboards.
  4. If English isn't included in the list of available Keyboards, you'll need to add it.  If English is already an option, skip to Step 6.  To add the English keyboard option, tap Add New Keyboard...
  5. Select your preferred English option.
  6. Open the mLevel app.
  7. Tap into the "Email" field - you should see a "globe" icon on your keyboard.  Tap the globe until the English keyboard displays.
  8. Enter your email address using the English keyboard - you can switch the keyboard back to your native language by tapping the "globe" icon again.

Android Devices

  1. Tap the Settings icon.
  2. Select Language & Input.
  3. Select Default.
  4. If English isn't included int he list of available Keyboards, you'll need to add it.  If English is already an option, skip to Step 9.  To add the English keyboard option, tap Set up input methods.
  5. Select the "gear" icon next to Android Keyboard.
  6. Select Input Languages.
  7. Select English.
  8. Open the mLevel app.
  9. Tap into the "Email" field - you should see a "globe" icon on your keyboard.  Tap the globe until the English keyboard displays.
  10. Enter your email address using the English keyboard - you can switch the keyboard back to your native language by tapping the "globe" icon again.

Windows Phone Devices

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select the Keyboard section.
  3. To add the English keyboard option, tab Add Keyboards.
  4. If English isn't already selected, you'll need to add it.  If English is already an option, skip to Step 8.  To add English as an option, tap the checkbox near English and tap add.
  5. You'll now be taking back to the keyboard screen.  Here, you see the progress of the download & installation process.  You don't need to stay on this screen for the download to complete.
  6. Once the English language update is installed, you'll see a message "Your update is ready to be installed."  Tap install.
  7. Your phone will restart and confirm the update.
  8. Open the mLevel app.
  9. Tap into the "Email" field - you should see a key showing the active language on the bottom of the keyboard.  To switch the keyboard to English, tap this button and Windows Phone 8 will cycle through the available languages.

Windows Desktop/Laptop

  1. Click Start Control PanelClock, Language, and Region.
  2. Click Region and Language.
  3. Click the Keyboard Languages tab.
  4. Click Change keyboards.
  5. Under Installed Services, click Add.
  6. If English isn't already an option, you'll need to add it.  If English is already an option, skip to Step 9. To add English as an option, double-click English.
  7. Double-click Keyboard, select the text service options you want to add.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click the Input Language button on the Language bar**
  10. Select English
  11. Go to http://play.mlevel.com
  12. Enter your email address.

    **If you don't see the language bar, right-click the taskbar, point to Toolbars, and then click Language bar.
